WSU Warrior Cupboard
Winona State University is proud to share that we are now a Hunger Free campus! Help us continue providing needed resources for WSU students.
The Warrior Cupboard is a supplemental on-campus food shelf available to WSU students. This free resource ensures that students have access to groceries and basic nutrition when they need it as well as other necessary resources. By working to eliminate food insecurity on our campus, we aim to help students stay focused on their studies and improve their standard of living. In 2024, we have 145 students currently accessing the Warrior Cupboard, a 42% increase from last year. Over 2/3 of our budget is from donations, whether monetary or food items. We need your help to continue the standard we have set for providing resources to our students in need!

What does it mean to be a Hunger Free Campus?
The Hunger Free Campus program is in partnership with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, Students United, LeadMN, and University of MN student leadership. This is a grant program that works to help end hunger on campus. Being a Hunger Free Campus means that we have access to more resources to continue the success of the Warrior Cupboard and helping WSU students. We are asking for help so we can expand these services even further for our students.
